Background and Rationale

On January 2, 2024, the Ramsey County Regional Rail Authority held its Annual Organizational Meeting to elect the vice-chair Ramsey County Regional Rail Authority (RRA) for the year 2024. Commissioner Trista Martinson was elected as the RRA vice-char, but has accepted a new leadership role as the Executive Director with the Ramsey/Washington County Recycling and Energy. The chair presides at the RRA meetings, and in the chair’s absence or inability to act, the vice-chair presides at the meeting.
Commissioner Martinson’s last day at Ramsey County will be end of day August 1, 2024.
