On January 2, 2024 the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority held its annual organizational meeting to establish appointments to outside committees for 2024.
With the resignation of Commissioner Trista Martinson, the amendment to appointments to outside boards for the remainder of 2024 is as follows:

Appointments to outside committees is an annual administrative organizational action. These committees represent formal entities and partnerships that respond to modes of transportation. Regional Railroad Authority Commissioners will seek opportunities to advance racial equity through the work of these committees.
Community Participation Level and Impact
Informing the community of this action provides transparency about committees in which the Regional Railroad Authority Commissioners participate. The appointments will provide opportunities for the Ramsey County Commissioners to build relationships, consults and collaborate with community in supporting and responding to issues important to the community through the works of these committees.

Last Previous Action
On July 2, 2024 the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners accepted the resignation of Commissioner Trista Martinson (Resolution B2024-121).
On February 6, 2024 the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority appointed Commissioner Ortega to the Red Rock Corridor Commission and appointed Commissioner Xiong as the alternate (R2024-005).
On January 2, 2024, the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority approved the appointments to various outside committees for the year 2024 (Resolution R2024-004).
