Background and Rationale

On July 30, 2024, the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners met in order to hold interviews with candidates for the position of County Manager. After the interviews, the Ramsey County Commissioners met to discuss the interviews and candidates.
The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners reached a consensus at the July 30, 2024 meeting that Ling Becker should be appointed County Manager, and desires to have that decision finalized at the County Board Meeting of August 27, 2024.
The Employment Agreement between Ramsey County and Ling Becker is submitted for board approval.
