Background and Rationale

On January 7, 2025, the Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment Authority held its Annual Organizational Meeting to elect the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) vice-chair for the year 2025. Commissioner Rafael Ortega was elected as vice-chair. The chair presides at the HRA meetings, and in the chair’s absence or inability to act, the vice-chair presides at the meeting.
Commissioner Garrison McMurtrey was elected and sworn in on February 24, 2025, and will be replacing Commissioner Rafael Ortega as HRA vice-chair for the remainder of 2025.
