1.                     Approve the settlement agreement with Felicia Marie Wilson in Felicia Marie Wilson v. Ramsey County (Court File No. 23-cv-01309 (KMM/SGE)), totaling $150,000 and other non-monetary terms.

2.                     Authorize the Chair and Chief Clerk to execute the settlement agreement.

Felicia Marie Wilson filed a lawsuit against Ramsey County on May 11, 2023, alleging discrimination based on race and disability in violation of the Minnesota Human Rights Act and Title VII of the federal Civil Rights Act, violation of the Minnesota Whistleblower Act, and constructive discharge. See Court File No. 23-cv-01309 (KMM/SGE). Ramsey County denied liability to Ms. Wilson. 

 

Plaintiff and Ramsey County reached a settlement. The board approved that settlement in a closed session on June 2, 2026.
