Background and Rationale

On December 2, 2025, the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners approved the creation of the Ramsey County Economic Development Authority (EDA). As part of implementing the EDA, an additional step is the election of the vice-chair for 2026. The chair presides at the EDA meetings, and in the chair’s absence or inability to act, the vice-chair presides at the meeting.
