1. Approve the selection of and agreement with Morcon Construction Company, Inc., 5151 Industrial Boulevard Northeast, Fridley, MN 55421, for the Metro Square Service Center Remodel project, for the period of June 25, 2024 through June 24, 2025, in the not-to-exceed amount of $2,522,000.
2. Authorize the Chair and Chief Clerk to execute the agreement.
3. Authorize the County Manager to execute amendments to the agreement in accordance with the county’s procurement policies and procedures, provided the amounts are within the limits of available funding.

Background and Rationale

Ramsey County continues to develop and create its service centers in order to further the Resident’s First initiative and approach to delivering county services in an accessible way to county residents. The renovation of the Metro Square Service Center will enable the county to deliver expanded services in the downtown Saint Paul area.
On February 21, 2024, in accordance with county procurement policies and procedures, a competitive solicitation for the project was issued. Below is the competitive solicitation summary:
