The Ramsey County Library Friends (“Friends”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Ramsey County Library in making information, books, music, and programs available to the public.
The Friends Board of Directors approved a one-time gift in the amount of $90,000 to Ramsey County Library in 2026.

Fiscal Impact
The gift of $90,000 is not part of the Library’s approved 2026 budget. These funds will be placed in
the Library’s Trust and Agency Fund and expended in alignment with the spirit and intent of the donation towards programs and Library improvements such as children's areas and interactives, and in alignment with the vision, mission, and goals of Ramsey County.
Last Previous Action
On December 16, 2025, the Ramsey County Board accepted the gift of $250,000 from the Ramsey County Library Friends to the Ramsey County Library (Resolution B2025-235).
