1.                     Approve the lease agreement with Double Track Interactive, LLC dba Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store, 4065 Jersey Avenue North, Crystal, MN, 55427, for space at Union Depot, 214 East 4th Street, Saint Paul, MN, Suites 140 and 150, for the period from March 25, 2024, through March 31, 2026, for the total amount of $39,000, with two additional option years at an increased rate.

2.                     Authorize the Chair to execute the lease agreement.

Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store is the quintessential retail store for Union Depot. Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store’s principle is that “trains are fun for all ages!” Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store is a Twin Cities landmark offering an interactive pay-to-play area, operating train layout, weekly events, a wide selection of toys and gifts, and train-tastic birthday parties. Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store is also home of “The Choo Bob Show!” a television show all about trains. 

 

Approving a train store to lease space at Union Depot is an ideal partnership for an abundance of reasons, such as, bringing in additional train enthusiasts, a thriving retail store, additional opportunities for all to partake in train related events.
