NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners:

Approve the settlement agreement negotiated in Sporleder v. State, et al., Court File No. 62  
-CV-23-3405, which is funded by a legislative appropriation in Chapter 113 of the 2024 Session  
Laws.  
Authorize the County Auditor to meet the requirements for participating counties outlined in  
Chapter 113 of the 2024 Session Laws.  
Authorize the County Attorney or designee to execute the settlement agreement on behalf of  
Ramsey County.
